## A time clock kiosk app your whole team can share

TimeCamp Kiosk is a TimeCamp add-on and time clock kiosk app that turns one shared tablet or computer into a clock-in station for on-site teams. It suits shop floor, warehouse, reception, and retail staff. Each work period lands in TimeCamp as a time entry for the right project or task.

### Why teams use TimeCamp Kiosk

- **One device for everyone.** Employees tap their name and never sign in to TimeCamp on the device.
- **Time per task, not just hours.** People pick a project or task at clock-in, so reports show where time went.
- **Your own PIN, your own time.** With PIN sign-in on, each person enters their own PIN first.
- **Nothing to type twice.** Work, breaks, and notes go straight into TimeCamp timesheets.

### What you can do

- Search the team by name or email. Clocked-in people appear first with a green dot.
- Clock in to a project or task from your project tree or search, or choose No task.
- Switch projects during a shift. The kiosk closes the current entry and starts the next one.
- Take a break with Start break and End break.
- Add a note to the current entry. The kiosk saves it when you switch, take a break, or clock out.
- See a live timer, today's total, a 7-day total, and today's entries.
- Run more than one kiosk. Clock-in status lives in TimeCamp and refreshes every minute.

### How it works

1. An admin opens TimeCamp Kiosk in a browser on the shared device and pastes their TimeCamp API token.
2. The admin opens Kiosk settings with their kiosk PIN and turns breaks, projects and tasks, notes, and PIN sign-in on or off.
3. An employee taps their name, enters their PIN if asked, taps Clock in, and picks a project or task.
4. The employee taps Back to users to leave the kiosk for the next person. At the end of the shift, they tap Clock out.

### Good to know

- The kiosk acts with the TimeCamp access of the admin who signs it in.
- Settings are saved per device. Breaks, projects and tasks, and notes are on by default. PIN sign-in is off.
- Breaks need a top-level project or task named "Break".
- PIN sign-in and the settings lock use kiosk PINs already saved in TimeCamp. The add-on does not create PINs.
- While someone is clocked in, their timesheet shows a 1-second placeholder entry named "[Kiosk working]".
- Shifts must end on the day they start.
- Times come from the device clock, so keep it correct.
- The interface is in English.
