See everyone's leave on one screen

Attendance summary gives your company one view of who is away in the next 2 or 3 months. Each person has a row and each day has a column. A cell stays empty unless someone is absent, so absences stand out at once, without a "Working day" label in every cell.

The add-on reads the day types that your team already uses in TimeCamp Attendance, so nobody has to keep a separate spreadsheet.

Replace the leave spreadsheet

  • See your whole team at once. Rows shrink to keep everyone on one screen, and a team of about 60 people fits on a desktop monitor.
  • Read the grid at a glance: a cross for vacation leave, a circle for sick leave, and a letter for other absence types, in the colors of your TimeCamp day types.
  • Find your place quickly. The current week is highlighted, today is marked, and weekends and public holidays are gray.
  • Put it on the wall. The print button gives you one A3 landscape page with a key and the date, or a PDF from your browser's print dialog.

Spot the weeks when too many people are away

  • Check how many people are absent on each day and in each week. A week counts each person once.
  • Set your own limit. A day or a week turns red when absences reach it.
  • Point at a count to see who is away.

Check leave days next to each name

Each row shows the leave days used and left this year, based on the leave limits and the leave time saved in TimeCamp.

How to get started

  1. Choose Request and ask the TimeCamp team to add Attendance summary to your account.
  2. Open it inside TimeCamp and choose 2 or 3 months.
  3. If everyone should see the whole team, an account administrator turns on "Everyone can see this view" in Settings.
  4. Set the number of absent people that should turn red, then print the view or leave it open.

Good to know

  • Attendance summary is free and available on request. It needs the TimeCamp Attendance add-on.
  • The add-on only reads from TimeCamp. People still request and approve leave in TimeCamp as before.
  • By default, each person sees what their TimeCamp role allows, so a regular user sees only themselves.
  • With "Everyone can see this view" on, everyone who can open the add-on sees all names, vacation and sick days, and leave balances. Check that this fits your company's privacy rules before you turn it on.
  • That option keeps the administrator's API key in encrypted form and reads with it. Notes and email addresses never reach the browser.
  • If that administrator leaves or changes their key, people return to their own view and the page asks for the option to be turned on again.
  • Leave days count 8 hours as one day, and "used" includes days planned later this year. Time entries on a vacation task are not counted.
  • People without a leave limit in TimeCamp show "-" in the "left" column. Disabled accounts are not listed.
  • The print fits one page for about 80 people. Larger teams continue on more pages with the header repeated.
  • The interface is available in English and Polish.

Frequently asked questions

Can every employee see the whole team?

Yes, if an account administrator turns on "Everyone can see this view". Until then, TimeCamp's role rules apply and regular users see only themselves.

Does it show leave that is not approved yet?

Yes. A request that waits for approval shows as a hollow mark. It counts as absent in the totals, because it is a plan for that day.

Can I print it or save it as a PDF?

Yes. The print button opens your browser's print dialog with one A3 landscape page, and you can choose "Save as PDF" there.

How many people fit on one screen?

About 60 people on a desktop monitor. On a small laptop, the Full screen button gives the rows more room. Larger teams can scroll or use the search box, which also limits the print and the totals to the people you find.

Does it replace leave requests in TimeCamp?

No. Attendance summary shows the leave that is already in TimeCamp. It does not create, change, or approve anything.

How much does Attendance summary cost?

Attendance summary is free.
